My Adyna

Dear Adyna,
Its been quite some time since I want to write something about what happened to you for the past 3 month... Its not that I hesitate too much.. its just that I dont know where to start. It went so fast that I didnt have time to update the situation. I really hope that one day, you will be able to read this article and share it with your dear friends...

Adyna dear,
Its Thursday, end of May 2011, and I am on my way back from an underwater-escape course. While still on the highway, your mom called, told me that she brought you to the clinic because of the fever you had. About 9pm, I am home and you are already in sick condition.

Come Saturday, your fever not fully recovered but it seems that the temperature already reduced. That evening, I noticed that your eyes are not focusing to me when I hold you. It seems that you are "trying to avoid" eye contact with me and try to look at something else (which I dont know what). I find it very seriuos and we decided to bring you to the hospital to for the doctor to have a look... At about 8pm, we drive you to Hospital Sg Buloh... and there is where your "adventure" begins...

Hospital Sg Buloh, 8.30pm, Outpatient Unit:
Your name was finally called out. After a few examinations, you were temporarily warded at Green Zone. But not long after that.you were transfered to Yellow Zone. Here, the conditions getting more serious, and in fact, they are waiting for a Paedetrician to have a look at you. After about 30 minutes in the Yellow Zone, they decided to put you in the Red Zone, where all the critical conditions patients were there... Here in the Red Zone, they tried to put the wire into your body, but cant find any vein (because you are ssooo chubby laa..). After a lot of try and error method, after your hands swollen with needle pricks, they managed to put the wire... By this time, its almost midnite and finally they decided to admit you into the hospital.

By this time, your condition got worse and worse, and they are monitoring you through out the nite...
By 6.30am, they decided that you have to be transfered to more appropriate place, which is Paediatric ICU (PICU) in HKL...

Sunday, Day 1
8.30am - you were tranported to PICU HKL in an ambulance with your mom, and I followed you with our car from behind.. Warded in PICU, your condition got worsen and they have to put you into sleep to make you more relax...

Will continue later in other entry...
